Day Three -- May 6 -- Amazing Beijing!!!

May 6, 2012 Written by Jackie Tomasetti (Social Work student)

My experience in Bejing was absolutely amazing.  I have had the most wonderful and incredible experience.  It is very different from the USA and makes me think about what it must be like when the Chinese come over to America.  Bejing offered many international people and amazing sights such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Olympic stadiums, and the Summer Palace for the emperor. Bejing alone has made an impact on me and I cannot wait to see what Chongqing has to bring.

At the base of the Great Wall
At the Olympic Stadium -- Beijing

This expereince is overwhelming and exciting.  I am experiencing a new culture and and exploring it with my classmates.  The sights are amazing and very different from anything we have in America.  Our country is 250 years old and the Chinese civilization is well over 5000 years old. I feel like a part of a larger history here and I am so thankful that China is willing to share it with me.

Attached are photos of the groups during the trip so far.
